Ontario Peak - San Gabriel Mountains. Okay, this one nearly killed us. We had to follow the ridge line up and down and up and down to eventually get to our destination. It was like climbing on the scales of a dragon's back. Pseudo summit and after pseudo summit, we plodded. One summit even had the nerve of placing a red "sign-in" can upon its top. I opened the can expecting to see Ontario Peak written somewhere: validation that we had finally made it. The register said: "Summit just shy of Ontario Peak." Thanks! I dropped it, turned around, and moved on. Thankfully, not too much later, I got to snap the shot you see above. Now you know why we look so happy.
