Title: Desert Dust

Location: Desert View - Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Travel Notes: This cannot be a typical morning of the Grand Canyon. I rise from my tent and walk amongst the kind of snow you could never make a snowball out of. It's dry and flaky. Clouds cloak the rim of the Canyon like coastal fog does to shoreline crags. Two branches point toward a potential subject: surfacing buttes. Even on a cold and cloudy day, the Canyon's beauty finds a way to break through.
